Peter A. Bender

Title

Pete is a Senior Advisor to M.J. Beck Consulting with over 35 years experience in strategic planning, business development, operational management, organizational management and project management of power, electric transmission, solid waste, hazardous waste, water/wastewater and process projects for private and public sector clients.  Pete holds a BS degree in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy – Kings Point; a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the City College of New York and has held Professional Engineer’s licenses in several states.  He has had long term senior management and business practice leadership positions with Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, DMJM Harris/AECOM, and Careba/Mott MacDonald in addition to working as an Independent Consultant in the Power Industry with emphasis on both traditional and emerging technologies.  Pete has been working with  M.J. Beck Consulting for the last several years on its LIPA/PSEGLI assignment relating to Utility Consulting Services – Utility Scale Solar, Wind and Battery Projects.
